It’s the Neighbourly Thing to Do!
3 years ago, my husband and I moved back to Canada to be closer to family and our beloved granddaughter.
We purchased and became guardians of 20 acres nestled in the East Kootenay Mountain Range with views of the Rockies and Purcell Mountain Ranges surrounding us. We live on a “bench,” which is a semi-flat section on a mountain 6 km off the highway on a gravel road outside of a small town ~12 km away. We can see our neighbours’ homes through the trees, a couple of km away. away so it’s not super isolated, but it is remote.
So why am I telling you this? Bear with me…(pun intended).
Rural living in the mountains has been a major learning curve. I grew up in a small city (with lots of time at a family cabin in the “bush”), but really, I was a city girl. My biggest obstacle living here was the fear of the big animals: the Grizzly, Black Bears, Mountain Lions, Elk, and Moose. We have them all. There are smaller ones, too, coyotes, foxes, badgers, lynx, and skunk, as well as deer.
After moving in, I would consider the walk to the various outbuildings far! I mean, there might be a bear or cougar lurking around the building, or a dense brush area, and I might not make it to my destination, or worse, get there and not be able to get back. This fear was not what I expected, nor did I enjoy it. I would continually try ways to challenge myself, but it was baby steps.
And to further amplify this fear, my eldest daughter ran into an 800 lb. grizzly on the property (while walking alone), she made eye contact while it was standing over a deer kill some 40-50 feet away. As an empath, her story took me there as though I had experienced it. (P.S. She ran home about .5 km, and the bear watched her run.) She was lucky…
To help us feel secure, we introduced a Maremma/Pyrenees puppy to our family to guard and let us know there were animals around (and butterflies flitting 3 miles away). Our Tula has grown into a magnificent Guardian Dog, and my fears seemed to subside. Over time, I came to believe that “at my age, fear could no longer have its grip on me”. Funny how we can tell ourselves things that are not even remotely true!
Spoiler Alert…it wasn’t about the bear!
Then one dark and wintry evening, our first year here. I walked the hallway (of my home) towards the back door (that had a window in it). As my eyes focused in on something looking back at me, it began to register that there was a HUGE hairy hand with a face that took up the entire window, smiling at me! Everything in my body stopped, and the blood drained from my head. I stood there in fixed horror! Before going on with my story, I want to state that I also felt a familiar loving energy connect right into my heart.
When I was able to collect myself, I ducked into a doorway to collect myself and get out of sight. Screaming felt inappropriate, as that grin and wave warmed my heart! I needed some time to process this. What a strange mixture of feelings, scared at what I saw, but a familiar loving essence. This being was genuinely happy to see me and was giving me a genuine neighborly welcome to the hood!
However, this was not a neighbour I was familiar with seeing…this neighbour in these parts is called “Sasquatch”.
I am very much accustomed/attuned to channeling and seeing images. Many I tell this story, to ask, was this a physical or an etheric encounter? I still ask myself this question. I am not clear on the answer, but there were times in my life I did see “scary” things that were not physical, and I did not react. I managed to keep myself collected, and they were scary. (I’ll save those for another blog).
Once I was able to get back into my body, I was reminded that I have had a fascination and was constantly looking for signs of Sasquatch since I read my first book about them at age 10. I still drive down our gravel road of 5 km and wait (hope) for one to step out, run across, or peek at me from behind a tree. I consider how I will react this time. Perhaps stop the car, walk out, and hug him? I have watched every documentary, read every book, belong to Facebook groups, and researched them in my spare time. To be honest, I am obsessed with Sasquatch. Why wouldn’t they come and say hi?
It’s the neighbourly thing to do.
After some internal inquiry and talking to a few friends who easily tapped into the Sasquatch energy, it was discovered that I am a Clan member, they live close by, and hang out on my property. They love my granddaughter (I mean, who wouldn’t!) These are true Sentient Beings; they are respectful. Just being friendly and cheerful in their own way.
I continue to relive the feeling I received that evening, as it was joy-filled, happy, and “excited to see me” kind of energy. He was waving after all! I know this was a “he” as I later came to find out his name was Althadore (pronounced Alta door), Clan Leader.
Thinking back, I remember loud bangs on the house. I would feel into the noise (it wasn’t frightening) and brushed it off as house cracks or perhaps I needed to sage. Now I realize he/they were banging on the side of the house. Something that continues to happen to this day. I take it as a sign that they are around, and often when I have done something, they notice and like they slap the side of the house in a sign of “bravo”. Lol (like writing this blog). For this, Althadore actually shows me his face. He comes to me now and again and is now a familiar energy and a guide.
From there, I have countless stories and hundreds of pictures. I did request that they stay outside the fenced-in area around my home, which is about ½ acre or less. I was just not comfortable running into a 10-12 foot (or taller?) being on my way to the shop, barn or woodshed (yet). I’m now getting more and more comfortable with the idea, and wonder out loud if they would appear for me? They assured me “I’m not ready, yet, and continue to snap trees and leave the top half hanging down, they love branches stripped bare to showcase a Y, they do tree knocks (a pole hitting a tree), they clap stones, and sometimes give a yowl hoot. (Best description I can give).
Why are they showing up for me now? Well, I moved to their habitat (and from my Akashic Records, this was by design part of my Life Plan. I agreed (as a Clan Member) to help with Disclosure, for it is time. The Sasquatch act as our Guardians and are connected to our Star Families. These highly intelligent beings have the unique ability to walk in 3D and 5D worlds; therefore, they can be elusive to those who seek them out for proof.
Their connection is very real, and Nature is their world; in fact, they are Earth Keepers or Woodsmen for Pacha Mama (Mother Gaia). They are her eyes and ears on the ground. They will connect etherically if you call them in and are anxious to connect with those who are interested. Their job as Guides has started in earnest. They assure me there will be more to say about them and lots for them to say to us. For now, this will be their initial introduction. As a writer, I will share these stories as they come to me.
Thank you so much for reading, and huge thanks to those of you who reach out with your love-ly words in emails; they are so appreciated and make my heart sing. If you have questions or a specific topic you would like me to write about, just ask! I love getting nudges from the Universe.
In Gratitude and a thunderous clap to the side of your home,
I AM yours in Service KA
