While we can all agree on the current state of “discord,” whether it be people, politics, or weather near and far. We are always able to control our reaction to it. We came here for this time. Our souls chose to be here for this exact time! Now that we are here, many are getting lost in the chaos, hanging on to beliefs and behaviours that are not serving us, nor are they serving humanity.
It's time to shift our focus from the low-frequency self (low ego self) to our Higher Self, removing ourselves from the False Matrix Illusion and discovering the truth of who we are, "discovering ourselves for who we truly are". We can alchemize the density around us when it arrives in our field by dropping into the heart space rather than using our mental abilities, which are not anchored (anywhere), causing anxiety and chaos within ourselves.
Not sure how to easily drop into the heart? With your mind's eye, see a ball of string in your head, dropping down with a single string still connected to the head, and the ball with the bulk of the string resting in the heart. Feel that fullness in the heart area, take a breath, and make your decisions from there. Surprise! The world in our "mind" is not our "reality"! The world in our heart is.
Living from within the heart or being heart-centered creates a calm, making it easier to stay or be in the "now". This is the space where we can easily communicate with all the Kingdoms (Animal, Angelic, Ascended Masters, etc).
Our role as Light Workers/Star Beings is to be the calm within the chaos. This is not meant to preach or change minds if this information is not resonating. I'm simply sharing how to be the calm within the storm - or be the change the world needs to see. When chaos meets calm, it dissipates; it has no energy to continue its trajectory.
This is the time to practice our grounding, breathing, and Be-Ing rather than Do-Ing. As the Ascended Masters tell me (often). "You are a Human Be-ing, not a Human Do-ing!

Sekhmet came through to remind me that a Meditation we wrote together would be perfect for the newsletter. I believe it is so important for these times. Sekhmet reminds me that working with her at any time (not just 8/8 will be beneficial and enlightening!
I feel I may be "preaching to the choir"; however, Sekhmet suggested that I remind myself and you of this very important message, which cannot be overstated.
The triggers and incidents that come into our awareness are the Universe testing us. Can each of us resist entering and adding to the chaos? This is what I ask myself when in situations that require my energy. How will I serve in these moments?
As many of you have most likely discovered, there is no changing minds as to what is good or bad, truth or deception. We can only trust that by embracing love (which is truth) and being the light and calm, this energy will penetrate the deception, which is a lack of light.
Such heady information, but necessary for these chaotic times that are reshaping the world we live in. By going into the heart, we can shape the world in which we wish to live.

I have managed to maintain my sanity by turning away from TV, the mainstream news, mindless screen time, and conversations that are meaningless and petty. I spend time in nature (less recently due to mosquitoes), writing, art, and hobbies that make my heart sing. Full disclosure, my screen time lately has been more than usual. I have this strong "need" to know what's going on. What I have discovered is that the super triggering news has allowed me to stay neutral. I noticed that by the next day, the sensation had shifted, and the energy moved on. Sooo, interesting? I watch YouTube for my news and learning new skills (recipes, art, history, canning, health, Medium training, spiritual info, you name it!) I challenge myself to diversify what I watch, and I'm happy to report it's working. Please share your strategies. I'd love to learn how others cope.

Sekhmet and how we met
About 10 years ago, I was shopping in a market in Turkey when I came across this small black statue of Sekhmet (at the time, I didn't know it was her), but I did know that I WANTED her. She was familiar, and I knew I needed to take her home with me.
I asked the fellow, "How much?", and I saw him size me up (feeling my energy), and he then asked for a ridiculous amount of money. Honestly, this annoyed me. A. that he was charging for a Goddess Figurine (apparently they should all be free?) and B. that he read my energy (without me having a strong energetic field to stop him). Full disclosure - I wasn't in my heart, and wasn't taking into consideration the energetic exchange for this valuable item. That was then; assuredly, I have come further in my evolution and understanding of such things. (lol)
So I decided once bartering began that I would not lower my first offer. This was a bullish behaviour (yup, I'm Taurus). And I was prepared to walk away. That I did! risking the prize.
I moved on to another table (albeit annoyed at myself and regretting this decision). About 15 minutes later, the vendor found me, tapped on my shoulder, and said I could have it for what I offered. We exchanged money for a statue, and I left quite satisfied. (Drama in hindsight). But a good story 10 years later. I could feel Sekhmet smiling as we were now united!
Once home, we began to work together. I adore her energy and the Lion Beings in general.
One of the reasons I didn't want to pay the original asking price is that I couldn't make out what the material was, and the man didn't seem to know either. Since then, I have come to understand (from Sekhmet) that it is a Basalt carving of her likeness. And that any picture, carving, bust, or likeness of an energy can easily be embodied by that energy. So if you want to work with a Master (or Sekhmet), simply print out a copy of their likeness, or purchase a picture/statue, and you can easily work with their energy.
PS. Did you know that original artwork (ie, oil, watercolor paintings, or drawings) become living portals?) I discovered this as I have a lovely watercolor painting that I face when in my tub. When I gaze and use my "vision" while staring at it, the picture inside the frame begins to move! It does this every single time I do this! I have since learned that original art becomes living portals!
In Ancient Egyptian times, Sekhmet, a powerful Egyptian Goddess, was the daughter of Ra, often referred to as the "Eye of Ra". Ra, being the Sun God. Having this distinction allowed her the power of harnessing the sun and all that it stands for.
Her appearance is that of a female human with a Lioness' head. She is often wearing a red dress and represents the fierceness and softness that the Lion energy brings. This lineage is linked to courage, sovereignty, and heart-centered leadership, aligning with the lion archetype.
She is associated with the August 8 (8/8 Portal) energy, where her Star Ancestor lineage from Vega and Sirian energies work their magic on this date. The Lyran Lions are known to be keepers of knowledge and wisdom, and are some of the oldest souls to incarnate on Earth.
For many, this 8/8 portal represents renewal and, with Sekhmet's help, will burn away what no longer serves you and introduce new options. Being a Goddess of chaos and destruction is an apt energy to work with in these emerging times.
